The goal of Log-Book is to create entering car mileage as simple and quick as possible but still be compliant with the tax departments’ requirements. Once you have used Log Book a few times you will be able to enter a new trip in THREE taps (and thats including the tap to save it).

We use this app and apart from trying to fix how to stop us forgetting to do it we wanted to make the process as quick as possible because lets face it, everyone wants to spend as little time as possible doing things like this, regardless of how pretty or feature rich the app is.

To speed up a trip entry you can add your own common start, destination and purpose entries. The date and start odometer are entered automatically.

There are no pretty graphs, fancy reports or a multitude of settings, just simple, quick entries.

All entries can be exported to a CSV file for manipulation (graphs and wiz-bang formulas) in a spreadsheet.

Thanks for keeping it simple and straightforward. If I want directions, listen to music or kill aliens, I will get a different App. All I want to do is keep up with my business mileage. This is the perfect App for that. I have three go to Apps and this is one of them. If you want a simple to use App without all the useless options, this is the one for you.

Absolutely amazing app. I strongly recommend this app to all Realtors and self employed who need to keep track of their trips for business and personal uses.

Some bad moments

Can only add 1 vehicle. I have 2 work trucks and this app only lets you keep track of one vehicle. Waste of money.

I paid over a dollar for the app, compare to what it does which is "nothing" is way to expensive!

Much easier than paper books for sales people who log miles. Love it.

So simple. So clean. Perfectly replaces spiral mileage log. The printed report is excellent for taxes. The fact that I dont have to do any calculations is wonderful. Records business and personal mileage automatically. I did not want a GPS recording every foot and every minute. All I need is date, miles and reason. I like the font and size. I like the graphics and design. Good job.
